Kelsey live in brooklyn short attention span music collector (i.e. 7" and cassette tapes) Like pop punk, 90s riot girl/punk/anything good, skate thrash and metal sound walls. Learning to play the drums and have every instrument at my disposal at my awesome apartment in bushwick. Lets start a band that sounds exactly like 1905.

I'm Awol, 21. I'm from Miami, but I'm in Brooklyn for college. I like listening to music and going to shows.
I went to that show the other day that Bomb the Music Industry played. I wasn't able to get there until rather late so I only caught them and Cheap Girls. It was awesome! Nothing beats crowd surfing on a Wednesday night. I was gonna post in the thread but it appears to be gone. Anyone got photos?
Unlike the guy above, The Clash are my favorite punk band ever. I also like a lot: Tom Robinson Band, The Jam (I know a lot of people wouldn't consider them punk), Minutemen. I'm not really into hardcore; I prefer more melodic 70s-style. I probably don't know as much about punk as most people here, and the punk bands I know are probably pretty mainstream (and all defunct by now) compared to whatever you guys listen to. But I'm always looking to discover more. I really like Bomb the Music Industry! I also like ska and ska-punk (all kinds), classic/alternative/garage rock, dub, jazz. I think I can usually tolerate pretty much anything, including classical, if it's not rap, country, MTV pop, or straight up noise. I'm really into chip music (8bit), and that has got me into listening a bit to other kinds of electronic music like breakcore and dubstep.
This post was too long.

I'm Mike Ricci - better known as Ricci, or Mike from Brooklyn. I'm originally from Bensonhurst, been around the scene since I was in middle school. Graduated last year from FIT. I'm a computer technician by trade, graphic/web designer in my spare time. I design websites and merch for bands. Ask me if you'd like to see my work or would like a quote for something. Just got back from six weeks of tour doing merch for Moving Mountains and lending my help to Moneen. Avid record collector/nerd. If you're selling anything, let me know - you've probably got something weird that I'm looking for. Some of my favorite bands are Envy, Lifetime, Converge, Jimmy Eat World, The Get Up Kids, Braid, Sunny Day Real Estate, Refused, Bayside, Glassjaw, etcetera.
I also book and promote shows at The Studio at Webster Hall. It's the basement venue, 300 capacity room. I book anything from post-rock to hardcore. Perfect spot for medium size touring packages. Unfortunately I can only run all ages shows there on Sunday through Wednesday. Thursday through Saturday it's 19+ because of the night club upstairs. If you know of a decent sized touring band coming through that needs a place to play, hit me up.

my name is kevin. sometimes i wake up in the morning to jackhammers. i cry a single tear and stumble to the sink for water. then i toss and turn for a couple hours. i was shocked to find a possum on my street in sunset park, brooklyn. he didnt seem to give a shit too much. city possum. one time i saw a man die. i was on a cruise with my family and it was kareoke night. this really old dude started singing "some enchanted evening" halfway through the first verse the boat rocked a little bit and the dude dropped the mic and fell over and died on the spot. on a boat singing a song, man thats a pretty cool way to go. i'd honestly be satisfied if i get to die with a grin on my face

I'm Dylan. I just moved to Brooklyn from Seattle, Colorado, and/or West Virginia. I don't really know anybody in New York. It's weird. I like hockey, vegan food, hardcore, adventures, and bikes a lot. If you were to get me drunk, I'll probably just tell you a lot about hockey, whether you give a shit or not.
