There's good bands out there... you just gotta go to shows and support all of the bands, even if you never heard of them... that's how you find out good bands.... then you tell your friends.... people wonder why the scene sucks now in New York... because no one supports anyone, but the ones who don't support are the first douche bags to say that the scene sucks! well what part did you play in that!?
You won't find good, New York street music in Hot Topic next to the white belt you went shopping there for. Jackasses.
